Cycling Lhasa Kathamandu Tour
Cycling Lhasa to Kathmandu, we fly to Gongar airport (Tibet) from Kathmandu.
The views of snow capped mountains from the flights are scenic; the world highest mountain is just below your
airbus. Driving for around 65 km to the main capital city of Lhasa. We spend two more days sightseeing in Lhasa
before starting cycling Lhasa- Kathmandu, before starting Cycling Lhasa – Kathmandu, visit Sera monastery, Derpung
Monastery, Jokhang temple, Barkhor market and not to be missed the Potala Palace with the local guide from Tibet.
We drive by bus to Shigatse via Gyantse. In Shigatse, visit second largest monastery, Toshilhumpo. At last finally
cross Friendship Bridge and reach Kodari, Nepal. We spend two nights in Nepal before we head to Kathmandu the
capital city of Nepal. We always provide backup vehicle for emergency. While camping during cycling period Visit
to Tibet provide freshly cooked meals accept Lhasa and Shigatse, all equipments like good tents, mattress and
sleeping bag…
Tibet Cycling trip can be planned toward the western region of Tibet; the standard cycling package is of 20 days
from Lhasa to Kathmandu via north Everest base camp.
Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
- Day
01
Arrive in Kathmandu International Airport.
We will meet and greet you and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.
- Day
02
Tour of Kathmandu City Centre and Monkey Palace.
(Including guide and any entrance fees). Check all bikes and personal equipments. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.
- Day
03
fly to Lhasa.
Transfer you to Hotel in Lhasa (3650m) Rest/ Overnight at Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.

04
Tour of Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace.
Including tour guide transport and any Admission fees. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.

05
Tour of Sera Monastery including transport and all entrance fees. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.
- Day
06
Travel to Shigatse by Bus (via Southern Friendship Highway).
Afternoon spent sorting out bikes. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.

Tour of Tashi Lhunpo monastery,
including guide, transport and entrance fees. Meet Nepali staffs and your cycle. Hotel in Shigatse. Overnight at the Hotel with Breakfast.

Cycle to base of Tso La.
Overnight at the tent with full board.

Base Tso La – base of Gyatso La.
Overnight at the tent with full board.

Base of Gyatso La to Shregar.
Overnight at the tent with full board.

Shregar to Padu.
Overnight at the tent with full board.

Padu to Rombok.
Overnight at the tent with full board.

Morning the cycling to Base Camp explore and back to camp by Lunch time. Overnight at the tent with full board.

Base Lalung La to Nyalam.
Staying in local Guest House rather than camping. Full board Food in Tent.

Nyalam to Kathmandu.
Earcly in the morning Cycling to Nepal Tibet boarder and drive back to Kathmandu by Bus. Overnight in Hotel.

16
Finale Departure to Home.
